National Scientific Poster Contest on Cannabis
The National Scientific Poster Contest on Cannabis is Argentina’s most important cannabis science event. Now in its sixth edition, its mission is to highlight, promote, and share scientific research on cannabis and hemp across the country.
Researchers from all over Argentina present their latest findings in poster format — the standard medium in academic circles — displayed in the Science Exhibit at Expo Cannabis.
A prestigious panel of Argentine cannabis experts selects the most original, innovative, and valuable posters. Finalists showcase their work in the Science & Health Stage, where they present to the public.
Categories and Panel of Judges
The Scientific Poster Competition on Cannabis is divided into 6 categories:
1. Basic research on cannabis
2. Clinical experience with cannabis
3. Botanical research on cannabis
4. Cannabis derivatives and quality control
5. Social and legal developments related to cannabis
6. Industrial hemp research
Each category is evaluated by a panel of three professionals specialized in the topic, who review, select finalists, and choose the winners.
All panels are part of the Scientific Jury of Expo Cannabis Argentina, chaired since the first edition by Prof. Dr. Susana Pasquaré.
Award Ceremony & Publication
Sunday, October 19, finalists present their work live on the main stage of Expo Cannabis Argentina. Winners for each category are announced at the ceremony.
Winning and finalist posters will be published in a digital edition of Revista THC, and all participants receive an official certificate.

How are the winners selected?
Each category has a dedicated jury that evaluates originality, scientific rigor, relevance, and clarity. Finalists present live during the event and winners are announced on stage.
Who are the judges?
The jury is composed of national experts from various cannabis-related fields and is chaired by Prof. Dr. Susana Pasquaré.
What prizes are awarded?
Winners gain visibility at the event, publication in Revista THC, and official participation certificates.

Selected posters are displayed in the Science Exhibit Area. Authors also present their work on the Science & Health Stage.
